Independent Living Apartments

Our Independent Living apartments are ideal for over-70 single persons or couples who are ready to scale down and no longer want the burden of caring for a house. 

Each unit comprises a lounge and open plan kitchen, a separate bedroom with en suite bathroom, and a patio and small garden.  There is ample cupboard space, and enough room for your favourite pieces of furniture, paintings and other treasured possessions.  If you have a car, we will provide a covered parking spot.  Pets are welcome (within reason).

Every day Chef Nerina prepares delicious lunches for all Amble Ridge Care residents, which are served in our charming dining room.   Residents can relax or entertain guests in our luxurious lounges, or in the Amble Ridge Clubhouse which is only a short, undercover walk away.

We take care of all the chores so that you don't have to, like cleaning and laundry and gardening.  If you prefer not to drive, our shuttle can take you into town twice a week. 

Our nursing staff is on hand 24-hours a day to respond to medical emergencies, and should you ever need a bit of extra TLC, we will move you into one of our Health Care Suites for a few days at no additional cost.  Should your health ever deteriorate, we can either provide the care that you need in your apartment, or move you quickly and painlessly into one of our Assisted Living apartments.
